There is no brighter runway than the Internet. Sorry, Paris, NYC, Rome, you will always be beautiful and loved. But the new fashion capital is online.

Among those leading the dazzling fusion of technology and fashion is Spooler, a company that develops technology and systems to create innovative products to help improve the future of fashion.

Spooler-Home-Page-Graphics-High-Res-Visible4

Business, brands and platform – Spooler is for people who are looking to both create and buy high-quality products in real time, ‘while seamlessly allowing them to voice their views on social topics they care about.’

Founder, CEO Benjamen Janey began the enterprise humbly enough, creating custom designs with sharpie markers and brush strokes on trucker hats. The hats caught on in Venice Beach with locals, tourists and eventually celebrities. The results have grown into the HDLV brand (valued at over $1.2 million) that celebrates pop culture and creates ‘on-demand apparel for the socially-conscious millennial,’ at mid-market price.

The Spooler umbrella now twirls over a growing number of entities that also includes Timeless and WeDesyn.

The Timeless platform invites designers to find inspiration for timeless masterworks by feeding budding artists with contemporary trends across a variety of broad categories (e.g. sports, causes, technology, pop culture). Timeless crowdsources these designs to paint on a highly visible canvas – the clothes of everyday, commuting people. In return for sharing their visions, designers can earn income from their work and delight in helping to create wearable art.

The newest entrant to Spooler is WeDesyn, a mobile app that allows people to design their own apparel on the go, within private and public forums. Designers can literally create in app on the background of shirts, hats, socks, and more. The community of users can then ‘up’ vote and ‘down’ vote ideas for clothing designs.

Spooler-HDLV Catalogue Group-High-ResIn similar style to how Netflix, Vimeo, and Spotify disrupted the film and music industries, Spooler aims to upend fashion. Customized, inventive, crowdsourced, and on-demand, the innovative company has been expanding with venture from business evangelist Dan ‘Zip’ Gould.

Spooler also offers printing and fulfillment solutions through a global pool of digital printing partners. They collaborate on designs with individuals and businesses locally, nationally and internationally, In addition, they provide brand consultancy.

Their clothing and business model are thoroughly modern. And, in an industry that prizes rule breakers and the cutting edge, they are establishing a robust medium for staying ahead of the competition. HDLV-USA Creates Business Opportunities for Designers

HDLV-USA Art Collective

In this age of Covid, with touring, art exhibitions, and live concerts caught in the balance, creative endeavors and the people who fuel them have ground to a near halt. Creative artists have been laid off, while big corporations and mid-size companies downsize internal staff to offset losses due to unexpected market downturns. HDLV-USA is the one platform that continues to work with its artists, helping them toward continued success no matter what the global, economic or cultural climate might embody.

Successful Designer and Entrepreneur Benjamen Janey developed HDLV-USA as an innovative webstore that uses fashion to help bring awareness to social issues. To satisfy its rapidly growing consumer demand, HDLV-USA has vertically integrated a marketplace for freelance designers that allows creatives to earn income from their art, essential tools to sell clothing through the website, and participate in the conversations of the day.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Juma Spears has attained early success with the platform by becoming one of the top-selling artists on the webstore within a few months. Juma has been a part of the hip-hop scene since the age of 17. After his trailblazing performance at Fort Worth’s 2018 Fortress Fest, Juma was named Fort Worth Weekly’s 2019 Hip-Hop Artist of the Year for his brisk lyricism and groundbreaking beats. Juma has set himself apart by working with Hip Hop legends of the industry such as Lil Flip, to underground talent like Sage Mode Wrex, and Tweety Brd. On a tour of Japan, Juma was inspired by Japanese anime and art forms and began to channel his creativity in new and innovative ways. Juma produces anime-inspired artwork, and like his mentor Lil Flip, Juma chose to come on board with HDLV-USA to marry the artwork with its clothing line and spearhead its launch. His line is featured in HDLV-USA’s pop culture collection.

Juma has also teamed up with Texas-based business SachaMama to release an eco-friendly collection, and Oakland-based media network GNN for a new streetwear series. Juma is currently working on an upcoming recording project with Japanese rapper Dirty Ray from Tokyo.

HDLV-USA founder Benjamen Janey encourages, “Juma’s experiences as an independent artist helped him realize that you can no longer simply be creative and expect a platform to champion you, promote you, and sponsor you; it takes a dose of effort, and the right tools. HDLV-USA was launched as a well-rounded strategy to quickly bring artist’s ideas to market, and bring social impact through couture—at scale. There is no better e-commerce platform for creatives to make social impact and optimize their creativity.”

Sesame Street – World Refugee Day

Sesame Street

Sesame Street World Refugee Day.

Today, we are facing the greatest humanitarian crisis of our time. 68.5 million people are displaced worldwide, over 30 million of whom are children. And yet less than 3 percent of all humanitarian funding goes to education—and only fraction of that to early childhood development (ECD)— despite all we know about the proven benefits of investing in a child’s earliest years. This World Refugee Day, Sesame Workshop is highlighting the need to invest in critical early learning for the world’s youngest refugees. With historic support from both the MacArthur
Foundation and LEGO Foundation, we’re bringing early learning to millions of children affected by the Syrian and Rohingya refugee crises in partnership with the International Rescue Committee, BRAC, and our independent research evaluator, NYU Global TIES for Children. Together, we are delivering educational resources, play-based learning, and a sense of hope to the children and caregivers who need it most. We hope you will join us on Thursday, June 20th as we highlight the critical need for investing in early education in crisis settings and the promise of ECD programs to bring hope and joy to children affected by conflict. Drop us a line to get involved!

Mogul, Rapper, Visual Artist Lil’ Flip Collaborates with On-Demand Clothing Brand

Trend Setting Music and Fashion Entrepreneurs Revolutionize a Billion Dollar Industry Through Art

Rapper, Mogul, and Visual Artist Lil’ Flip has entered into a collaboration with fast-growing clothing brand HDLV-USA (which stands for “High Demand – Live Vibration”).

HDLV-USA’s website provides socially trending apparel across a variety of categories, such as Political, Pop Culture, Music, and Tech – thus giving consumers the ability to take a stance on issues that they care about, Patent Pending.     Lil’ Flip’s licensed artwork will be the flagship fashion product for the HDLV-USA’s Music category, scheduled to launch this year.

Lil’ Flip is a Houston-based American rapper who started as a freestyle and battle rapper before earning a record deal in 1999 with Suckafree Records. Fellow Houstonian DJ Screw added Lil’ Flip to his Screwed Up Click and mantled him “The Freestyle King”. Known also for his business acumen and artistic ingenuity, Lil’ Flip’s first singles, “Game Over (Flip)” and “Sunshine”, featuring Lea Sunshine, sold 198,000 domestic copies in its first week, and was certified double Platinum in August, 2004. This year, Lil’ Flip is now charting innovative ventures while releasing new music. One of the best in the art of collaboration, Lil’ Flip has made notable appearances on the “Naughty Girl (Remix)” with Beyoncé, Chingy’s Powerballin‘, and the remix to his hit single “Game Over (Flip)”, featuring Young Buck and Bun B. Lil’ Flip has also appeared on releases by Nelly, Jim Jones and The Game (“Certified Gangstas (Remix)”), and Chamillionaire’s first hit single “Turn It Up”.

With this and other investments, business ventures, and community partnerships, Lil’ Flip has gained a respectable position (with other Texas Hip-Hop Entrepreneurs Slim Thug, Paul Wall and Chamillionaire) as a groundbreaking trendsetter in the Hip-Hop industry. Just as Texas business mogul Mark Cuban and his Shark Tank series turned heads towards the great state as a serious leader for venture funding, Lil’ Flip and others have made Texas a recognizable hub for Hip-Hop entrepreneurism, music, art, and lifestyle ventures.

Founded by popular millennial entrepreneur Benjamen Janey, HDLV-USA, is a California-based innovative clothing brand, selected as one of the first among an elite group of high performing ecommerce stores for funding by Shopify Capital, that creates on demand apparel for socially-conscious millennials. HDLV-USA and Lil’ Flip will produce an upscale fashion collection with original licensed artwork by Lil’ Flip. The collaboration marks a tremendous market opportunity to sell this upscale fashion product through the flagship website: hdlvusa.com. Additionally, HDLV-USA has made recent investments to expand design and artist integrations online – making it the perfect timing to launch this collaboration.

Visionaries take advantage of opportunities, and shoppers are getting unbelievably cool designs from Lil’ Flip’s new fashion product.

“I must say though, one of the best parts of the collab is the ‘Art’ tie-in,” said HDLV-USA’s Benjamen Janey. “Lil’ Flip has been spending more and more time creating original artwork on acrylic canvases, including large, impressive abstract paintings to modern art-style pop culture characters. Whereas, I spawned HDLV-USA with an ambition to disrupt the clothing market, the combination of influences make the new artwork/fashion collection not only an innovative product, but truly the spark of a new revolution in music, art, and fashion,” Benjamen concluded.
